WebSync 4 and RestEasy 2 Beta Release

by anton.venema 9. June 2012 08:36

WebSync 4 is officially out in the wild as a public beta! Pick up your copy in the Downloads.

We now have native WebSockets (proper, over port 80), support for binary payloads, native clients for Mac OS X and Windows Runtime, and tons more to check out. We'll be posting more in the coming days highlighting cool new features.

We're also happy to introduce RestEasy 2! Using the same coding conventions as WebSync, RestEasy lets you build awesome REST services with total control of the interface. Use whatever JSON serializer you want! RestEasy comes complete with support for JSON and binary transactions, as well as cross-domain support for in-browser consumption. It pairs perfectly with WebSync so you can build clean, stable, and easy-to-maintain applications.

Both of these products are in beta, so please let us know if you experience any issues. Our goal is to make your time spent developing as pleasant as possible, so if we aren't doing that, give us a shout.
