A developer is defined as a person who uses the SDKs for development. Licenses may be shared between developers, provided they are not in use at the same time.
No, all IceLink licenses are granted in perpetuity - meaning they may be used in an unlimited number of applications and never expire.
You will be able to continue to download use IceLink – but only versions released prior to the date that your support subscription expired. Upon renewal there will be a retroactive charge for the lapsed period to give you and your team access to SDK versions released during the lapsed period.
We want your first project to succeed. Purchasing a support plan ensures that we can continue to develop and improve IceLink while passing along new features, browser compatibility updates, bug fixes, and documentation to your team.
A production license key will immediately be released into your account. This key must be copied into your application source code in order for it to run with the production key.
Each developer simultaneously using the SDK must have a valid license key. Simply visit our website and purchase additional license seats and assign them to those developers.
If you are licensing your application to a 3rd party, or if a 3rd party will execute your application using the SDK in their environment, or if embedding Icelink into a piece of hardware and you are selling that hardware, you need to purchase a special OEM license that allows for redistribution of IceLink. More details can be found at https://www.frozenmountain.com/oem-licensing.
On your My Account page you have the option to select automatic or manual support subscription renewal. If automatic renewal is selected, the current payment method in your account will be charged and your support will continue uninterrupted. If manual renewal is selected, you must login to your account to purchase the support.
